The Westgate Badminton Centre is a purpose built Performance and Development Centre. Situated just outside the ancient Roman town of Winchester we are easily reached from all directions. Costing £2.2 million to build and funded by a National Lottery grant, the centre offers state of the art sporting facilities.
The centre is staffed by experienced Badminton coaches. We have a licensed bar and can offer light lunches such as sandwiches or jacket potatoes for those hungry players.
Recently achieved Performance Centre status confirms us as being one of the very few Centre's of Excellence in the Country. Our facilities are modern, clean and up-to-date, with self-contained kitchen and a treatment room that is totally secure.
Forgotten your kit or broken a string? No worries - we have a fully stocked specialist shop with a fast re-stringing service. The shop is operated by RacketsPlus, a well known and respected local mail order company.
